North Island Propeller Ltd is located in scenic Campbell River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and has been in the propeller repair business for more than 4 decades now!
Owner, Brian Jansen founded and operated North Island Propeller in the early 80s, with brother Steve joining him shortly afterwards as welder and metalsmith. N I Prop repairs marine propellers for commercial fish boats, tug boats, sail boats, ski and pleasure craft boats, as well as impellers for jet skis.
Now managing the shop's day to day operations while Brian is called in for the "big ones" and during peak season, Steve Jansen is an experienced and knowledgeable prop technician, and combined with his TIG welding expertise, can fix almost any prop that is worth repairing.

Large propellers take a bit longer to repair, but we give these priority for working vessels unless it's not needed right away (i.e. if there is a spare in use). Unless it's badly damaged, we can usually have it ready within a few days.
NEW propellers this size have to be ordered in, and many have to be specially ordered from the manufacturer if it's not a standard size you require. *ETA can be anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months*.
UPDATE (February 2025) - Re: Shipping from US Suppliers...
Soon, there may be extra costs besides actual shipping fees to consider on purchases of these large propellers. There may be newly increased tariffs on products coming from the US. This will increase the current fees for Customs, Duty and Excise which will directly impact what you can expect to pay for certain types/brands of propellers.
(At time of writing, we still do not know what these tariffs will look like, and when they will actually be enforced.)
